T.I.G.T. 2009 CONTRACT
WITH ROTHLANDS

 Websites Powered by Max Pages

Dear Rothland League Officer:

Please find enclosed a contract for the 2009 Season. We are proud to offer this for your consideration. We value the relationship with your league and look forward to working with you for the upcoming season. As indicated by the contract, Rothland will continue to use all three courses for its league play.

The first point of note is that the league player green fees and cart prices have increased slightly. This is due to our dedication to improvement as evident by the newly remodeled clubhouse and parking areas. Walking is still an option. To further reduce the cost of the riding carts we will again offer a prepay option. In an effort to best serve your players we continue to offer our handicap service free of charge with weekly printouts. If full commitment is not available to all players in your league we can also arrange a partial season membership. Please realize that your tee times will be predicated upon regulars and combined partial season players. In a continued effort to assist our leagues, we will continue to offer free league fee vouchers. Upon receipt of your first 1/3 payments, we will send each league one voucher for every eight full time players. Use these vouchers as you see fit to assist in the operation of your league. Our popular pin shot contest program will be sponsored by Rothland again in the 2009 season.

After your review of the enclosed contract, we invite you to call Jeff Randall or BJ Joyce to discuss any questions that you might have. Please bear in mind that we will need mailing (or email) information on each of your league players to bill them for their league fees and associated schedule. The deadline for contract submission with roster and addresses is December 30th. The deadline for the $20 per player deposit is January 20th. We look forward to hosting your league play in the 2009 golf season. Your efforts as an Officer are very much appreciated and we are available to support you in any aspect of your league management that you require. Rothland still offers the best variety of golf holes at very affordable league prices. Your business and satisfaction are important to us.

Very Truly Yours,

The Golf Staff at Rothland

2. League will play ___________ weeks consecutively on the above stated weekday.
3. The league will consist of ______________ number of players. Players must deposit $20.00 which is nonrefundable within 45 days of the contract submission. Players will be billed individually by the golf course for league fees.
4. League will not play on the following dates:__________________________
5. The cost for league play will be $9.00 for each player, each week, for nine holes of play. NineWeeks of league will be purchased by each player in advance and one additional week will be provided free of charge. Total cost is $81.00 for green fees only. The following will be the payment schedule for the 2009 season: 1/2 of league fees (balance after deposit) will be due by March 1st. Remaining 1/2 of league fees will be due by May 15th.
6. Make up rounds or unused league rounds may be used for open play with the approval of the golf course. This provision excludes weekend and holiday play before 11:00 am.
7. League vouchers will be used again this season. We would ask that each player signs their script before giving it to our starter. Substitutes may use the script of the player they are subbing for.
8. The tee times designated for your league begin at _3:08 and conclude at 4:08__. The time parameter is based on 8 minutes intervals for each 4 players in your league membership. Each week the league will rotate to the next of the three nine, using the Red/Gold/White rotation plan. Rotation will continue even in the event of a scheduled league absence. Any league day that falls on a holiday will be skipped to the next week, at the same nine color. Tee times must be honored so that the Rothland Management is able to uphold its agreements with each league.
9. Early play on league day by league members is permitted, provided that the players have reserved a tee time. Without a tee time, early play provisions may be refused due to heavy public play or other league tee times.
10. Substitutes will be permitted to play with the league provided all players have teed off within time frames listed above.
11. Slow play can not and will not be tolerated. In consideration for following players, the target time to complete nine holes of play is 2 ½ hours. Any groups of players, who take longer, will be reported to the League Officers. We request that pace of play problems be handled internally. Repeated cases of slow play could require a change in play format or the releasing of irremediable players.
12. Newly elected officers for the coming season are under direct obligation to the terms of the agreement, should an election take place prior to the start of the league season.
13. Any change in this agreement must be approved and signed by both parties.
14. Upon approval by the league and signing of this agreement by the officer(s), the management agrees to abide by the terms herein.
15. Rothland has a posted dress requirement for men requiring golf shirts with sleeves.
16. The Management reserves the right to call play on any given day providing a two week notice is given to the league president. Exposure to this provision could only occur once in a season. This provision is for a non-weather related closing of the golf course.
17. On days of inclement weather, league players should call the club @ (716)542-4325 at least one hour before league tee times to determine if play is to be cancelled due to poor weather. If play is not cancelled by the club, all leagues must play.
18. Rain dates will be added to the fall side of the league schedule to maintain the 15 week minimum requirement. If weather cancels more than 2 weeks of league play, the 15 week obligation will be adjusted down.
19. Rain checks will be issued to all league players not completing their round. Rain checks will be issued for a pro-rated value based on the remaining number of holes not played. Value will include power cart rental if purchased.
20. Those players who have teed within league times and have not completed all nine holes due to darkness will be issued a Darkness Check. A Darkness Check is valid for nine holes of play on any day other than their league day.
21. A league holding their 18-hole championship at Rothland will receive special considerations on golf and cart fees. It is recommended that you book your tournament as early as possible due to the competition for weekend dates.
22. Handicap service for 9 hole leagues will be provided free of charge for those who are interested. The only stipulation of this free service is that the league secretary or individual players post the scores to the posting sheet.
23. For League Players, during league times only, the price of a 9-hole riding golf cart will be $12.00 or $6.00 each player when shared. This price is discounted from the normal 9-hole power cart rate and is offered on 9-hole play only. Single riders will receive the shared cart price when the entire group rents power carts. League Players will be given an opportunity to purchase a golf cart for the entire league season at a reduced price of $5.00 each week. The total cost will be $45.00 and a free round (#10) will provided. This pre pay option must be paid by April 15th to receive the discount.
24. League greens fee is for 9 holes of play only. Additional play can be arranged with the Pro Shop, and must be, before any additional play begins. Reduced rates will apply on any additional play. Additional 9 hole play before league will be $8.00 including power cart. Tee time required.

The completion of this agreement must be fulfilled on the following time table. Failure to do so will give the management the right to rescind your league’s right of first refusal on league day and times.

A. Agreement must be reviewed and returned as approved by December 30, 2008. Any initial questions should be directed to Jeff Randall or BJ Joyce. You may add to the roster up to January 30th as approved by the Golf Course Management.
B. By March 15th, the final roster of league players must be provided in writing.
C. First scheduled league day, the roster must be firm. Any loss of players becomes the league’s responsibility to fill. Any additional players must be approved by the management.
